Our recent publication Phosphoproteins in extracellular vesicles as candidate markers for breast cancer. (I-Hsuan Chen, Liang Xue, Chuan-Chih Hsu, Juan Sebastian Paez Paez, Li Pan, Hillary Andaluz, Michael K Wendt, Anton B Iliuk, Jian-Kang Zhu, W Andy (2017). Proc Natl Acad Sci U S A. 114(12):3175-3180) has been highlighted in A Perspective on Extracellular Vesicles Proteomics (Livia Rosa-Fernandes, Victória Bombarda Rocha, Victor Corasolla Carregari, Andrea Urbani, Giuseppe Palmisano (2017). Front Chem. 5: 102). Three potential phosphopeptide markers belonging to the RALGAPA2, PRKG1, and TJP2 proteins were validated by PRM and showed to be significantly different between patients with breast cancer compared with healthy subjects, which gave them some help to some extent.
